Lauded by The Huffington Post as “seraphic” and “a lovely harpist,” Stephanie is both a classical and contemporary musician. With engagements at venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, rock concerts at Terminal 5, and warehouse spaces with Brooklyn LoftOpera, her performance experience is as extensive as it is diverse.
To date, Stephanie has performed professionally with orchestras, chamber groups, vocal ensembles, musicals, operas, and solo, as well as working for Indie and Major label artists including The Joy Formidable, Adele, and Andra Day. Her playing was also featured on USA Network's television series "Mr. Robot." While Ms. Babirak’s repertoire has tremendous range, she holds a special interest in new and cross-genre music which the Alternative Press boasts that she “plays divinely.”
Stephanie holds a M.M. from Mannes School of Music where she studied with Susan Jolles, and a B.M. from the conservatory at SUNY Purchase, where she also studied ballet at the dance conservatory. Her recent creative undertakings have involved combining her classical repertoire with a newfound love of circus arts.
To date, Stephanie maintains large harp and piano studios in Manhattan and Westchester. For more information on studying with Ms. Babirak, please visit "Teaching."
